Emails you may receive

Laatste update: 02/11/2026

The platform only sends you mail when there is something you need to know or do. There is no newsletter and nothing is resold.

New consumption data retrieved

If you have an EnergyID link, you may receive a message when a new month or year of data has been retrieved. You will receive one summary message, not an email per meter, and only for a genuinely new period.

This is off by default. You can turn it on by checking the box in the EnergyID block. The message is sent to the owner of the accommodation.

Your EnergyID connection has expired

A link with EnergyID expires over time. If that happens, you will receive a one-time email. It mentions the EnergyID account and the accommodations that are stalled as a result. Until you reconnect, the platform will no longer retrieve anything for those accommodations and your figures will remain as they are.

Open one of those accommodations and choose Reconnect in the EnergyID block. This restores all accommodations on that account at once.

Reminder to close your year

In early January, you will receive a message that you can complete and publish the past year, including what still needs to be done and a direct link. If the year remains unpublished, a reminder will follow a few times at most, every two weeks. As soon as you publish, they stop.

This reminder goes to everyone, even those without EnergyID.

Notable monthly consumption

If the consumption for a month deviates significantly from the month before and the month after, you may receive an email about it. Significant means: more than three times as much as the highest of those two neighboring months, or less than a third of the lowest. Each meter is viewed separately. The email mentions the month, the meter, and the figures, with a link to your monthly data.

A month is only checked once there is a later month with figures. The month that is still being updated therefore does not count, and a notification can arrive up to a month later. If a month is at zero between two filled months, the email says that this month may not have been read. Each deviation is reported at most once.

A notification is not an error. A cold month, a new installation, or a busy summer can explain the difference. Check it, and leave it as is if it is correct.

The platform administrator enables this email; it is off by default.

Reporting for your EU Ecolabel

If you have the EU Ecolabel, you must provide your consumption data and your internal evaluation report to the competent authority every two years (criterion 5.2). If you enter the application date of your label, you can receive a reminder for this: the first 90 days before the deadline, then monthly until you check that you have sent it, and once when the deadline has passed. Without an application date, you will receive nothing. You can read how to put the package together at the dashboard of the certification module.

The platform administrator also enables this email; it is off by default.

Possible evidence found in a scan

If you upload a scanned document, such as a photo or a PDF without a text layer, the platform reads it in the background. If you are working on a label and it finds possible evidence for a label criterion, the owner of the accommodation receives an email with the number of proposals and a link to the label wizard. There you confirm or reject them. If it finds nothing, or if no label process is open, no email is sent. See Evidence and documents.

Adjusting your preferences

You can turn notifications on or off in your profile and in the EnergyID settings. All mail comes from the same address, and you can reply to it directly.
