Most of the figures you need are already available somewhere. This page explains where to look for each source and exactly what you’re looking for.
EnergyID
An independent platform where you collect your energy and water consumption, often automatically via your digital meter or inverter. If you have an account, you don’t need to re-type anything for us. See Automatic filling via EnergyID.
Mijn Fluvius
Your grid operator shows your annual electricity and gas consumption, and if you have solar panels, also your injection into the grid. These are exactly the three numbers you need most often. Your EAN number is also listed there.
What you’re looking for: annual consumption in kWh for electricity, in kWh or m³ for gas, and injection in kWh.
Statbel
If you report your monthly lodging figures to the statistics service, those declarations contain your room nights and person nights. You can upload the PDFs directly; the platform will add them up. See Filling in occupancy.
Your inverter’s app
Solar panels provide their figures via the inverter’s app or portal. What you’re looking for is the total yield over the year, not just what you consumed yourself and not just what you injected.
If you have two inverters of different brands, you collect the figures separately and enter them separately.
Your water company
Your drinking water consumption is on the annual statement and usually also in the customer portal. In Flanders, these include De Watergroep, Farys, and Pidpa; in Brussels, Vivaqua.
Pay attention to the unit: invoices are usually in m³, while the platform asks for liters. One m³ is 1,000 liters.
If you have a rainwater tank or your own well with a meter, note those separately. Using rainwater instead of drinking water is exactly what the benchmark rewards.
