Cancellation Policy

Fairbnb.coop has updated and simplified the cancellation policy for Fair Hosts. They are included in the new version of our General Terms and Conditions (Art. 6). After logging into your account, you can select what you think best suits your needs and the expectations of potential guests in the Cancellation Policy section of the Dashboard.

Cancellation Policy

You can now choose from 3 basic options.

FLEX / 1 week warranty

If guests cancel a reservation within 48 hours before the check-in date, you will receive 100% of the rental fee,
If guests cancel between 3 and 7 days before the check-in date, you will receive 50% of the rental fee,
If guests cancel at least 8 days before the check-in date, they will receive a full refund.

MODERATE / 2 weeks warranty

If guests cancel a reservation within 48 hours before the check-in date, you will receive 100% of the rental fee,
If guests cancel between 3 and 15 days before the check-in date, you will receive 50% of the rental price,
If guests cancel at least 16 days before the check-in date, they will receive a full refund.

STANDARD / 1 month warranty

If guests cancel a reservation within 7 days before the check-in date, you will receive 100% of the rental fee,
If guests cancel between 8 and 30 days before the check-in date, you will receive 50% of the rental fee,
If the guest cancels at least 31 days before the check-in date, they will receive a full refund.

An additional option is designed for landlords who normally receive bookings only many months before check-in and for long stays, and have little chance of finding new guests during the last two months.

LONG STAY / 2 months warranty

If guests cancel a reservation within 30 days before the check-in date, you will receive 100% of the rental fee,
If guests cancel between 31 and 60 days before the check-in date, you will receive 50% of the rental fee,
If guests cancel at least 61 days before the check-in date, they will be fully refunded.

Previous policies will soon be removed from the system. If you haven’t yet chosen a new one, the cancellation condition will automatically be set to “Flex,” which is about the same as the conditions we used to have.
